She is currently taking time off from teaching to raise her newborn baby, but is excited to join The Whole Child and share her passion for math with TWC’s families. Her goal is to help both children and parents see themselves as capable mathematicians and to eliminate the words “I’m just bad at math” from their vocabulary! In addition to math, Laura enjoys teaching reading and writing and helping children develop a passion for high-quality literature. Using a multi-sensory approach to learning, Laura strives to create an environment where all students are able to discover their strengths and develop their self-confidence.
