Deb Pacella, Autism Fitness Certified
Social Coach
RISE Program
Hi, my name is Deb. I am married and a stay at home Mom of two teens. My daughter, Nina (13) and my son, Nick, (14) who is on the autism spectrum. Life is interesting! Since Nick’s diagnosis at the age of 2, I’ve been relentlessly trying to advocate and improve his social, academic, physical and psychological well-being. Along the way I have gained a great amount of experience helping kids on the spectrum strive to be their best. I have participated in the Falmouth Road Race for the past 11 years with the goal of raising money for different organizations which were founded to aid in the daily lives of children on the spectrum. I now wish to be hands -on in helping these kids. Fortunately, The Whole Child has given me the opportunity to do so. Nick has been attending The Whole Child in social groups, art and physical fitness programs. He has gained self-confidence, friendships, and the feeling of true acceptance. Also, Nick has become more open to trying new things, which has always been hard for him. I am so excited and looking forward to helping all of our amazing kids reach their potential.
I am personally dedicated to physical fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I am therefore very dedicated and looking forward to teaching kids at The Whole Child the importance of health and fitness so they can create a foundation for a healthy lifestyle going forward.
